Does it show Windows 10 S or Windows 10 Home or something else. Note that some of these links are not officially from Google. They appear to be safe, but do NOT click any ads in them. Firstly, make sure you have the latest Windows updates. Click "Check now" to check for updates. If cannot chrome on windows 10 are updates, install them and restart the computer.

Now retry downloading Google Chrome. If the problem persists, please type Services in the search box and hit enter. Scroll down to Windows Installer and make sure it is not set to disabled. If cannot chrome on windows 10 is windows again, right-click it, click Properties, and set wkndows startup type to Manual.

See if this resolves the problem. Do not click any of the ads in it though. Some people say turning off McAfee real time scanning also solves the problem.
